Iridology is the study of the iris. Every organ and body system reveals its tissue health state in the iris via direct nerve paths from the brain through the optic nerve. Iridology is a most valuable diagnostic tool which looks at the colours and markings in the iris and sclera. These markings indicate congestion and toxicity, nutritional deficiencies, hereditary strengths and weak organs. Iridology does not name diseases. Doctors from all over Europe and America developed the map of the iris over the last 200 years.
We look at the iris with an iriscope and often utilise photos or slides.
