Bentonite clay is used not only as a face and body mask for acne but also used as a detox method by drinking the water but please see your herbalist before you do this as there are contraindications.  Clay contains many minerals so nourishes the skin at the same time as drawing out impurities.  Just add water and mix into a paste and apply to the face avoiding the eyes or any parts with cellulite.  Leave on for 15 mins and wash off.  Its a good idea to apply rosewater to the face afterwards as the "drawing" action can increase redness due to increased blood flow to the area.  Clay is useful for so many things including drawing out stings, abscesses etc.
